Royal Lancers (Queen Elizabeth's Own)
The Royal Lancers is a cavalry regiment of the British Army.
It is an armoured cavalry regiment and forms part of The Royal Armoured Corps.
The regiment was formed in 2015 by an amalgamation of The Queen's Royal Lancers and The 9th/12th Royal Lancers.
In April 2017, to mark her 70th anniversary as Colonel-in-Chief of The Royal Lancers and its predecessors, The Queen granted the regiment the honorific title of 'Queen Elizabeth's Own', to recognise their service to Her Majesty and Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother.
The Royal Lancers belt was created with the guidance of a serving officer of the regiment and contains the motto in red, white and gold vertical stripes.
All of our belts are hand beaded in Kenya by the Maasai, using an average of 6000 beads.
We use the highest quality leather to ensure our belts are extremely long lasting and durable.
This belt is 1.5 inches wide.
The old Royal Lancers tie is not a tie at all. It’s a Manyatta belt.

DELIVERY:
We believe in being totally honest with our customers. Like a bespoke suit or pair of shoes, outstanding craftsmanship takes time. When the order is placed, the mamas in Kenya start beading your belt, utilising their cultural and ancestral skills. Once this is complete, the belt is sent to us in the UK. For this reason, please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery. Trust us - it is utterly worth the wait!
