Old Berkhamstedian (Berkhamsted School)

£85

Old Berkhamstedians is the name given to alumni of Berkhamsted School in Hertfordshire.

The original Berkhamsted school was founded in 1541 and merged with both Berkhamsted School for Girls and Berkhamsted Preparatory School in 2008.

The Old Berkhamstedian Maasai beaded belt has been designed in conjunction with a prominent OB.

Old Berkhamstedians include Clementine Churchill, Graham Greene, Sir Robin Knox-Johnston and Emma Fielding, as well as three holders of the Victoria Cross.

It is vertical in style, predominantly navy blue with red, gold and white stripes.

The Old Berkhamstedian tie is not a tie at all. It’s a Manyatta belt.

All of our belts are hand beaded in Kenya by the Maasai, using an average of 6000 beads.

We use the highest quality leather to ensure our belts are extremely long lasting and durable.

The standard belt is 1.5 inches wide and the thin option is 1.25 inches wide.

DELIVERY:

We believe in being totally honest with our customers. Like a bespoke suit or pair of shoes, outstanding craftsmanship takes time. When the order is placed, the mamas in Kenya start beading your belt, utilising their cultural and ancestral skills. Once this is complete, the belt is sent to us in the UK. For this reason, please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery. Trust us - it is utterly worth the wait!
