Naval & Military Club (In and Out)
The Naval & Military Club is known informally as The In and Out, due to the signs on the separate vehicle entrance and exit gates.
It was originally located on Piccadilly but moved to its current premises on St James’s Square in 1996.
To continue its nickname, the words ‘In’ and ‘Out’ were painted on the flanking columns of the portico of the house.
A strict dress code is enforced although military attire can be worn.
Notable past members include 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma, 1st Earl Haig, David Niven, T.E. Lawrence and Robert Falconer Scott.
The club’s president is The Duke of Edinburgh and current members include Peter de la Billiere and William Astor.
The belt is deliberately designed in a horizontal, stable belt pattern and incorporates the 3 colours of blue, red and green.
All of our belts are hand beaded in Kenya by the Maasai, using an average of 6000 beads.
We use the highest quality leather to ensure our belts are extremely long lasting and durable.
This belt is 1.5 inches wide.
The old Naval & Military Club tie is not a tie at all. It's a Manyatta belt.
IMPORTANT - HOW TO MEASURE A BELT:
DELIVERY:
We believe in being totally honest with our customers. Like a bespoke suit or pair of shoes, outstanding craftsmanship takes time. When the order is placed, the mamas in Kenya start beading your belt, utilising their cultural and ancestral skills. Once this is complete, the belt is sent to us in the UK. For this reason, please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery. Trust us - it is utterly worth the wait!
