Mixed Wall (Eton College)
Mixed Wall is a team of the Eton Wall Game and it is traditionally played on St Andrew's Day and Ascension Day at Eton College.
The captain of the team is known as the Keeper and the Mixed Wall team will play against College Wall and Oppidan Wall.
The school was founded by King Henry VI in 1440 to provide free education to 70 poor boys who would then go on to King’s College, Cambridge, which he founded the following year.
It is one of four remaining boys-only independent boarding schools in the UK.
Fees may be steep but around 20% of the boys receive bursaries or do not pay at all.
The belt is entirely Manyatta’s own creation as nothing previously existed.
The Mixed Wall belt is based on the team's colours and is in a vertical design of equal red and dark blue stripes.
Our Eton College belts are hand beaded in Kenya by the Maasai, using an average of 6000 beads.
We use the highest quality leather to ensure they are extremely long lasting and durable.
This belt is 1.5 inches wide.
The old Eton College tie is not a tie at all. It’s a Manyatta belt.

DELIVERY:
We believe in being totally honest with our customers. Like a bespoke suit or pair of shoes, outstanding craftsmanship takes time. When the order is placed, the mamas in Kenya start beading your belt, utilising their cultural and ancestral skills. Once this is complete, the belt is sent to us in the UK. For this reason, please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery. Trust us - it is utterly worth the wait!
