5th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards
Created for the 5th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards, a distinguished cavalry regiment of the British Army.
The 5th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards was formed in 1922 by the amalgamation of the 5th Dragoon Guards (Princess Charlotte of Wales's) and the 6th (Inniskilling) Dragoons, in Cairo, Egypt.
The regiment was amalgamated with the 4th/7th Dragoon Guards to form the current Royal Dragoon Guards in 1992.
The regiment saw extensive action in the Second World War and later Korea.
The belt is in a horizontal design of red, cavalry old gold/primrose and green.
All of our 5th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards belts are hand beaded in Kenya by the Maasai, using an average of 6000 beads.
We use the highest quality leather to ensure our belts are extremely long lasting and durable.
This belt is 1.5 inches wide.
The old 5th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards tie is not a tie at all. It’s a Manyatta belt.

DELIVERY:
We believe in being totally honest with our customers. Like a bespoke suit or pair of shoes, outstanding craftsmanship takes time. When the order is placed, the mamas in Kenya start beading your belt, utilising their cultural and ancestral skills. Once this is complete, the belt is sent to us in the UK. For this reason, please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery. Trust us - it is utterly worth the wait!
