Old Reptonian (Repton School)

£85

Repton School is a 13-18 mixed, independent day and boarding school in the British public school tradition, in Repton, Derbyshire, UK.

Sir John Port of Etwall, on his death in 1557, left funds to create a grammar school which was then established at the Repton Priory.

For its first 400 years, Repton only admitted boys; girls were admitted in the 1970s and the school was fully co-educational by the 1990s.

Notable alumni include: Harold Abrahams, Roald Dahl, CB Fry, Graeme Garden and Michael Ramsey (a former Archbishop of Canterbury).

The Old Reptonian belt is designed on the tie and is in a vertical style of blue with pairs of thin gold stripes.

Our Repton School belts are hand beaded in Kenya by the Maasai, using an average of 6000 beads.

We use the highest quality leather to ensure they are extremely long lasting and durable.

This belt is 1.5 inches wide.

The old Repton School tie is not a tie at all. It’s a Manyatta belt.

DELIVERY:

We believe in being totally honest with our customers. Like a bespoke suit or pair of shoes, outstanding craftsmanship takes time. When the order is placed, the mamas in Kenya start beading your belt, utilising their cultural and ancestral skills. Once this is complete, the belt is sent to us in the UK. For this reason, please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery. Trust us - it is utterly worth the wait!
