Queen's Royal Irish Hussars

We are always proud when we are asked to create a new regimental belt - in this case it is the antecedent cavalry regiment The Queen's Royal Irish Hussars.

It was formed from the amalgamation of the 4th Queen's Own Hussars and the 8th King's Royal Irish Hussars in 1958.

The regiment saw active service in Aden and during the Gulf War and was amalgamated with the Queen's Own Hussars in 1993, to form the Queen's Royal Hussars.

The belt is horizontal in design, predominantly green with thin gold and blue stripes.
