Manyatta Christmas party......

As has become the tradition, we were only too pleased to divert some of the revenue received from our customers to the beaders in Kenya, in the form of a Christmas bonus.

They were delighted to receive gifts of food - not necessarily the most exciting of presents on the face of it, but necessity outvotes frivolity every time for our beaders.

They really have been outstanding, particularly in the run-up to Christmas as this is really the only time of the year when the belts simply have to reach us in time.

I could easily have put back the Christmas deadline for orders, as it happens!
