Key Largo Anglers Club

We are delighted to reveal our latest belt for the Key Largo Anglers Club in Florida. This is a very prestigious and historic club and we are very grateful to Melinda, for her patience in the design process and for commissioning in the first place.

Melinda got the idea from seeing our Royal Yacht Squadron belt being worn by Rupert Boyle, a Squadron member.

The belt is based on the club burgee, a white key (presumably representing the Florida Keys but I haven't actually asked!) on a red and blue background, with a gold strip representing the mast.

Our thanks also go to our skilled beaders in Kenya - I wasn't entirely sure they could accomplish the straight and narrow lines needed - and also to our graphic designer Ellie, who is so adept at creating grids of patterns to facilitate the beading.
